FRP molded grating is a kind of structural plates which uses high-strength fiberglass roving as reinforcing material, thermosetting resin as matrix and then is cast and formed on a special metal mold.
It provides properties such as: Light in weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, solid and anti-skid.
It is widely used in oil industry, power engineering, sewage treatment, ocean survey as working floor, stair tread, trench cover and the like. It is an ideal loading frame on corrosion circumstances.
Matrix Resin | Function |
Orthophthalic Polyester | Has a comparative fine corrosion-resistance function and could be used in low density corrosion circumstance,such as inorganic acid,alkali,kinds of salts,etc.The long using temperature is -50ºC--52ºC. |
Isopthalic Polyester | Has a fine corrosion-resistance function and could be used in medium density corrosion circumstance,such as inorganic acid,alkali,kinds of salts,etc.The long using temperature is -50ºC--90ºC. |
Vinyl Ester | Has a exceedingly good corrosion-resistance function and could be used in very adverse corrosion circumstance such as acid,alkali,salt,dissolvent or acid & alkali in turn,etc. The long using temperature is -50ºC--100ºC. |
Phenolic Aldehyde | Has a exceedingly good fire retardant,acid resistance and dissolvent resistance.Its oxygen indext is up to 50,low smoke,high temperature resistance.The long using temperature could be 180 ºC
