The Collar is specially designed for Bumper Plate use, Olimpic lifting, and platform lifting workouts. The collar features a solid nylon resin frame and injection molded pressure pads, making it nearly unbreakable. The single-action cam lock securely clamps the collar once positioned on the bar. A permanent spring snap-latch keeps the collar secured on the bar through the most brutal workouts. The latch is easily released with one hand when changing weights.
Innovative design, superior durability, and exceptional performance make the collar an excellent choice for any Olympic style bar.

The collars should not be used to retain weights for direct overhead lifting, such as 'tricep-extensions' or 'pull-overs'. Furthermore, the collars are not designed to hold weight plates in a vertical orientation, where the full weight or the plates bears on the collar only. The collars should not be used in platform lifting or power-style lifting. This type of use would be considered unreasonable and will void the warranty.
 
The collar thought to be defective, damaged, or not working properly, should NEVER be used as injury may occur. The collar that is thought to be damaged should be removed from use immediately so that it cannot be used on fitness equipment.
 
Care & Maintenance
Your collar requires no special maintenance or care. Although it is highly durable, it should be treated with care. You should not drop, throw or crush your collar. Rough handling of collars will void warranty, shorten their life, and can compromise user safety. If you should notice any of the fasteners on your collar become loose or protrude beyond the surface of the faceplate ? they MUST BE TIGHTENED IMMEDIATELY using a standard #2 Square-Drive screwdriver.
