Step Drill Bits are used to drilling multiplesize holes in thin sections of metal, plastic and wood.Each type of drill bit covers several sizes,meeting diferent work according your demand.More details in sheet.Drills round holes in most metals (steel, brass, aluminum, copper) up to 1/8" (3.2mm) thick as well as in plastic and wood. No center punching or pilot hole drilling is required on most sizes. The bits are easy to keep sharp, and the hole size is easily determined by the diameter markings that are permanently laser-etched in the flute areas.
Our superior designed HSS step drill bits is ideal for drilling holes into thin materials such as metal and stainless steel,iron,and will make the cutting faster and smoother.
No centering required,the drills will not run off center.
A variety of hole diameters can be drilled using only one tool,and the tool can display the dimensions,and the dimension of drilled hole is exact.
Holes are de-burred by the following level, and cylindrical bores are produced.
Even very thin-walled materials can be drilled.
