1) We call the total concentration of calcium ion (Ca2+) and magnesium ion (Mg2+) in water sample the hardness of water. It is an important index for water quality. This meter adopts the electrode method to test and it has the same accuracy with EDTA titration method

2) Adopts 601-S water hardness combination electrode which consists of measuring electrode, Ag/AgCl reference electrode and temperature sensor. The PVC sensitive membrane of measuring electrode made of active material comes from new neutral carrier. It has equal selectivity for Ca2+ and Mg2+ ion in water sample. It has features of new structure, stability potential, fast response speed and easy to use

3) The meter adopts intelligent chip design, which has automatic calibration, automatic temperature compensation, data storage, RS232 output and stored date be locked automatically and other intelligent functions

4) Eight water hardness units can be chosen freely: mmol/L, mg/L (CaCO3), mg/L (CaO), mmol/L (Boiler), mg/L (Ca), fH (France degree), dH (German degree) and eH (British degree)

5) Equipped with B1, B2 and B3 three calibration solutions
