Thermostatic bimetals have been standardized in a number of countries.
The relevant standards usually contain data on materials, their properties,
dimensions, shapes and tolerances, as well as test specification and,
in some cases, references to other general test standards.
Thermal deflection rate, is the ratio of angular rotation to temperature change,
T is a measure of the coils thermal activity .the equation D= (A2-A1) / (T 2—T1). Where A2 and A1 are angular positions at temperature T2 andT1 respectively.
