Rail Changer for 10 kN

DESCRIPTION OF RAIL CHANGER

The Rail Changer is a specific machine designed to lift rails with a maximum weight of 12T.

WARNING: Any other use of the machine is prohibited.

The rail changer consists of a metal structure, and mainly comprises the following parts (see figures below):

GENERAL MANUFACTURING SPECIFICATION

MAINTENANCE

1. Frame

Periodical lubrication every 200 hours

- Adjustable legs;

- Articulation of the handles;

2. Roller Rail Grip

Periodical lubrication every 100 hours

- Rollers;

- All the pins/articulation of the rail grip;

3. Chain Winch Force 10kN

a. Slightly oil the lifting chain before first use of the equipment;

b. Every 200 hours oil:

- The lifting chain;

- The lifting eye and lower carrier;

- The single flange rollers;

c. Regularly check the state of the links of the chain;

d. Never grease the braking system crank side.

SAFE OPERATION OF CHAIN BLOCK

1.Don’t overload your chain block.

2.Don’t step in under the load.

3.Don’t try to suspend a load with two blocks.

4.Don’t pull up too far or pull down slamming fast.

5.Don’t use the chain with a kink.

6.Don’t get the load dragged against the floor.

7.Don’t give the load a sudden take-off. Take a breath when the load chain is just taut and check for the brake action by pulling up and down about 10 cm above the floor.

8. Do not turn round the chain block as loaded.
