An essential piece of kit if you have a lot of piercing, or like to wear thick ball closure rings. Available in two specifications either small ring opening pliers which are for slightly smaller rings, or large ring opening pliers which are slightly larger making opening larger ball closure rings easier. Both are made from solid 316L surgical steel. These ring opening pliers will easily open ball closure rings up to 6mm. They have fine tips for small ball closure rings and special grooves to help hold the bigger jeweler in place as you are opening it. TIP: When using pliers to open ring up, only very gently open the ring just as much as you need, if you use too much force you'll overstretch the ring.
