Operation of electric wood sanders:
Switching the sander on/off
The electric wood sanders is started and stopped by holding or releasing the power switch (7). To lock the power trigger (7) in the on position: Press the lock button (6) and trigger (7) simultaneously and then release the trigger (7) before the lock button (6). To disengage the trigger lock: Press only the power trigger (7) and then release it.
Attaching sandpaper
Make sure that the sandpaper is the right size (125 mm), has the correct hole pattern and is of the hook and loop (velcro) type. Line the holes in the sandpaper up with the holes on the sanding pad and press them firmly together.
Attaching the dust bag
The dust bag (8) pushes onto the sander’s coupling sleeve (9).
Setting the speed
The speed can be set from 6000 to 13000 orbits/minute. The speed can be adjusted using the speed selector (1), even during operation. Do not to exert too much pressure on the sander, especially at lower speeds when the motor is not cooled as much by the lower speed of the cooling fan.
Setting the angle of the handle
To adjust the handle (2), first loosen the locking knob (3), set the desired angle and then tighten the locking knob (3).
Care and Maintenance
- Always keep the motor’s ventilation openings free of dust and debris.
- Clean the machine as needed using a lightly moistened cloth and mild detergent if necessary. Avoid using abrasive cleaning agents and solvents.
