Q.1: What temperature that mug will be changed?
A.1: Usually, for the hot color changing mugs, when the temperature above 45 degree, the design will be changed; For the cold color changing mugs, when the temperature below 17 degree or 13 degree, the design will be changed.
Q.2: What kind of mugs do we have ?

Q.3: How to design the hot or cold color changing artwork ?
A.3: Hot changing design should be changed from dark color to light by pouring hot water. So before changing , the magic layer should be black/ dark green/ dark blue/ dark brown etc. red or purple color are also ok, but can't cover the hot design completely (No limitation to the hot design). Cold changing design should be changed from light color to dark by pouring cold water.
Q.4: What should we pay more attention when we use the color changing mugs ?
A.4: Not suitable for dishwasher and microwave
Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight or dipping the mug in water for long time
Do not scratch the mug with metals or other hard sustances
Q.5: What is the process craft of color changing mugs?
A.5: There are four basic crafts as below:
- (a). Direct printing: It can be transfer printing or surfaces printing pring on the mug directly. This Craft is suit for simple design, small quantity. Whether need to bakeout depends on the material.
- (b). Water transfer: First print the image on the paper, secondly combined with silk screen printing, spraying printing, thirdly put the transferred paper into the water, picture leave the paper, fourth stick the picture on the mug, then bakeout made up articles.
- (c). Heat transfer: Stick the heat transfer paper on the mug, and use the mug baking machine bake the picture on the mug. It takes 3-4 minutes. This is the easiest craft for making color changing mug. It is suit for individual customized products.
- (d). Spray finishing: We use paint spraying process the color changing material coated outside the mug. This craft is used for full color changing mugs.
We have this following details of quality standard:
- (1). Check the blank mug: check the brightness of the mug, whether the rimofacup is in a circle. If it has clear particle or pit, color uneven, or parti-color, scratch, flaw, ect. At the present stage, the No.1 material is Magnesia porcelain, this porcelain fine and smooth, bright and clean as mire. The body of the mug thin and a little transparent, change color fast speed. Next is patedure, Strengthen porcelain, Stoneware ect. Choosing magnesia porcelain to express your love to your loved one, such color changing mug appears all the more valuable.
- (2). Check the craft, whether the printing part has burn out, if the flower design orderliness and in right position.
- (3). Check the Effect, whether the picture is clear enough, whether the image of before color changing and after color changing can reach expectant surprised effect.
- (4). See safety: Whether this products havd branding, all the material used environmental protection, Whe the product can pass food inspection standard. Whether the company passed ISO9001.
Q.6: How long of the color changing effect can keep?
A.6: - For hot changing mugs, when the water become to cold which is lower to 45 degree, the design will go back as before.
- For cold changing mugs, when the water become hot which is over 17 degree, the design will go back as before.
