The Radiator Hose Repair kit is a great tool for roadside emergencies. The easy to use kit helps fix broken radiator hoses and is great for use on domestic and import vehicles.
Instructions:
1.Raise hood of car and allow engine to cool.
2.Locate spot where hose is leaking.
3.Cut completely through hose at spot where leak is until hose separates into two sections, A sharp kinfe or single edge razor blade is best for cutting the hose.
4.Slide one hose clamp over each side of cut hose.
5.Select proper size repair coupling and coat each with rubber cement.
6.Insert repair coupling into each end of hose until edge of hose meets with center ridge of coupling.
7.Position hose clamps 1/4'' from out edge of hose and tighten snugly.
8.Refill radiator to proper level.
