The filling is down which is more warmer and lighter than fiber. It’s better to use in the winter season. There are duck down and goose down. In the same condition, goose down is better than duck down on keeping the warmth. Down has three performance indicators. First is the filling weight. Second is the amount of down. Down is made up of pinna and velvet. Pinna can support the role, velvet can keep the warmth. Cashmere rate is expressed as percentage. Third is the fill power.

These very small particles can attach to the fabric fibres in much greater quantity and adhere better, therefore lasting longer. Down-proof finish is also a surface treatment that makes the fabric more close then the down will not come out. |
