Should I choose Acrylic or Polycarbonate?

Acrylic is cheaper than polycarbonate,it is economic. The material is "Fragile"and with great UV resistance effect but no fire rating.
Polycarbonate , the cost is high,certified "Non fragile" and have a Fire Rating,also could protect the inner lights material.
