Galvanic plating Process

Using  Electrolysis principle ,putting the product into Chemical solvent ,so as the metal layer coating on the surface of the product

Ion Plating

Under a vacum situation,high purity metal coating stuff evaporate  and fly randomly under high  temperature , laying on the suface of the product,making 0.1-0.2micron layer.

Comparision

1, Galvanic plating Process ofen use  Six valence chromium as coating material,it is an  Non environmental protection  material, that have following stander:ROHS:<1000ppm;76/769/EEC,forbidden to use:94/62/EC:<100ppm .This is very strick stander, some coutry alredy changed three valence chromium instead of the old one.

 Ion plating process is more environmental friendly.

2,In order to make sure that the metal coating on the suface is strong ,factory will make a special spraying process for Ion plating .

3, Galvanic plating  have limited color options, only gold and silver,,but Ion plating can solve this prolbem very well.

Factors that affect electroplating 

	The polished mark, pin hole
	Coating process is operatedly faulty, coating peeled off
	Electroplated area is not tidy and clean, dust sticked on the surface
