What is “In Mould Labeling (IML)”?
In mould labeling is an advanced pre-decoration technique used for injection moulded containers and lids.The plastic PP label is fixed in the place by hand or robot when the mould is open and held in the desired position by electrostatic attraction or using vacuum technology. The mould is closed and molten plastic resin is injected in the mould, where shape is given to the pack. The hot plastic melts into the plastic label, makeing it part of the moulded object.
About IML ( IN MOULD LABEL)
We can make all kinds of in mould label for plastic injection paint bucket , We can print 4 sides at the same time when injection.
in mould label (IML ) is a new packing forms and different from the traditional direct screen printing, heat shrink labels , stickers.
IML is mainly used for PP, PE, PET blow molding and injection molding and other materials on the product.That is, injection molding has been printed before the mold labeling, good use of robots into the die opening injection mold cavity, after the mold temperature and pressure of the role in the IML on special products, the same plastic surface into one, when the mold opens, a plastic product has been printed or note that is one time complete.
