Our cornstarch cutlery is made from 72% of corn starch mixed with polypropylene - polypropylene fillers are required to strengthen corn starch resin so it performs adequately in use.
Please note that cornstarch cutlery is NON-COMPOSTABLE, but you are still making a good choice for the environment by using a product made from 72% renewable resources, reducing the consumption of the non-renewable fossil fuels required to make conventional plastic cutlery
