         A planter which is ideal for growing tomatoes, strawberries, herbs or flowers. Hang in the garden or patio, over a door, on a balcony, in the back yard, outside the office - any sunny spot at all. Contains 8 slits for a wide variety of planting options.      The easiest way to equip your planting bags with beautiful plants is to use strong, healthy already (fully-)developed plants, herbs or vegetables and replant them in your planting bag. You can breed them yourself or buy them at the garden center.

1.) This is what you need:planting bag,center riser,soil or other substrate,plants according to the number of holes in the planting bag,planting shovel,newsprint or aluminium foil,ewer;

2.) Fill up your planting bag as far as 1 inch below the first planting hole. Press the soil with your hand, if necessary top up with soil.
Avoid cavities to avoid stagnant moisture which can rot the roots later on.

3.) How to get your plants safely inside the plant bag?
First let the plants roots soak for half an hour. Then take the plant and wrap it up with newsprint or alu foil to compact the leaves. Note: You'll have to lead the plants through the holes from the inside i.e. leaves first (so take care to achieve a conical shape)!

It's not necessary to wrap in the root ball completely, as you don't have to lead it through the planting hole.

4.) Insert the wraped up plants from the inside, root ball last. Once inserted you can remove the wrapping and re-use it for the next plant. Then repeat until all plant holes at the lower level are equipped.

5.) Now fill up with soil to the next level of planting holes. Take care to fix the root balls of the plants tightly and to avoid cavities.

6.) Repeat until all levels of planting holes are populated with fine plants.

7.) Top up the planting bag with soil and compact the soil tightly but allowing ventilation.

8.) Take the center riser and press it deeply in the center of the planting bag.

9.) Now mold on your plants through the center riser providing optimal distribution.

10.) DONE!
You can mount your planting bag now. Be aware that it can be quite heavy according to volume and wetness (and, later on, fruit).
Take care to suspend it from a secure hook or beam.
