KDBG150 breathable membrane is a synthetic roof underlay membrane, made of polypropylene. It is a functional membrane, it main function is to make the roof or wall breathable. The membrane is not only breathable, but also waterproofing. Because of this function, it can allow moisture to get out of roof or wall easily, and when the moisture meet cold tiles or shingles, it will be condensation as water-drop, and flow away on the breathable membrane, thus keep the inside insulation dry, avoid wet or mouldy.

Breathable membrane is a 3 layer structure, both side of non-woven fabric is water resistant, but breathable, the middle layer is the functional breathable film; it is 100% waterproof, and 1000-2000g/24h.m2 moisture permeability.

1.      Breathable membrane protect the thermal isolation of the roof/wall against unfavorable impact of environmental factor that might penetrate the external covering.(rain, snow, dust)

2.      Breathable membrane ensures the windproof of the roof/wall (prevents the loss of heat from the isolation layers caused by air circulation.)

3.      Micro-perforation permeates vapor to the outside, ensure the dryness of the isolation layer.(only dry isolation functions properly)

4.      Complete waterproofing, the membrane prevent the penetration of water from condensation or leaking in the covering.

5.      Resistant to mechanical damage (stretch and tearing)

6.      Stabilized, conforming to EU standards, resistant to UV radiation and excess temperatures.

7.      Does not propagate fire.
