Our soft  PE/PP sheath-core spunbonded bicomponent nonwoven fabrics  are  hydrophobic , it is uesed as the material of impermeable bottom sheet of the disposable diaper to  avoid leakage . Because the soft hand feeling, it is also used as the material of the elasticized waist bands and leg cuffs. And fits snugly around a baby''s legs and crotch.

Characteristics : The products inherited the advantages of the traditional textile methods and also developed it. Sheath-core bicomponent filament fibers are those fibers where one of the components (core) is fully surrounded by the second component (sheath). The filament fibers are bonded together by hot thermally calendaring. This largely increased the softness and tensile strength.

 

Softness:  The sheath of the sheath-core bicomponent nonwovens is polyethylene. It has lower melting point and softness properties. 

 

Applications: feminine and infant hygienic products, medical and packaging for the sterile products.    

 

Excellent hydrophobic properties:  The raw materials of the spunbonded nonwovens are hydrophobic polyethylene, polypropylene and polyester. No additives are added during the production processing. 

 

Good laminating properties:  Bicomponent PE/PP and PE/PET nonwovens are sheath-core structure. The component of the sheath is polyethylene. It has lower melting point. The component of the core is polypropylene or polyester. Just because these two materials have higher melting point. So, it maintains the high tensile strength and also has good laminating properties. The melting point of the sheath and core difference between 30 to 130 degrees centigrade. Hence, the production process is easy to control.   

 

Composite processing  is including cast, ultrasonic and thermal compound method and others.   

Applications:  Baby diapers, feminine hygiene, surgical gowns, various protective clothing, composite packaging materials, clothing interlinings infiltration media and so on.    

 

Because no spinning additives are added during the process, so it has no harm  to human skin. We can produce SOFT-EP bicomponent nonwoven fabric with  thickness of 0.8 denier, in the weight of 10 to 150gsm and the width of 5 to  320cm.
