1.Difference between the three kinds carport

The regular style is rounded on the sides and has a barn shaped roof. This is the most economical of the metal carports. The boxed eave carport has an A-frame gable roof with a 0.2m overhang on both sides. The vertical carport also has an a-frame roof as well as a 0.2m overhang on both sides. All carports have a 0.2m overhang on the front and back ends. What makes the vertical carports for sale different from the boxed eave carports is a feature of the roof. On the vertical style carport, the roof sheeting runs up and down from side to side which allowing the snow to easily slide off of the roof. The vertical carport is the only model that has this roof design. On the other two styles, the metal roof runs the length of the building. In order to attach the sheeting to the roof of the vertical carport, bracing is attached under the roof. This feature creates a strong roof for the vertical carport and allows snow to slide off the top. No more scraping and shoveling snow off the roof of the carport!
