20 Mil HDPE Lake, Containment, Pond Liner 6X STRONGER PVC
The liners are custom made from high density polyethylene. HDPE is FDA and NSA approved for drinking water and is very resistant to UV damage. Black HDPE liners are much more resistant to sun damage and remain more flexible over time then single layer low density fabrics like vinyl whose molecules create taste and smell in the water. Only with HDPE is there no “molecular transmigration”.
Impermeable membrane is a kind of waterproof material with basic raw material of high molecular polymer.
It is mainlybroadened liner applications to include landfills, wastewater treatment lagoons, aquaculture, irrigation ponds and remediation.

It's a woven fabric layer in the middle,then laminated with pe film on both sides.
Fish friendly - HDPE is a highly flexible stable material that's not only long lasting and easy to work with, but safe for fish and plant life.
Highly flexible - stays flexible in a variety of temperatures- from -40 degrees F to175 degrees F- enabling it to be installed year round.
Design versatility - can easily be shaped to fit the unique contours. Multiple membrane panels can be quickly and securely seamed to accommodate larger pond lining applications and unique design elements such as waterfalls.
Weather resistant - shows outstanding resistance to the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation (UV),
ozone, and other environmental conditions.
Extreme durability and high elongation - it has a characteristic that enables it to conform to objects in the subgrade.

When choosing between HDPE and rubber liners the most important factor to consider is how the materials are seamed together. Rubber liners tend to be glued or taped together, while HDPE liners are welded. Adhesives can deteriorate over time compromising the integrity of the join and security of the bond.
