2. Covering Material:
Float glass. (Single-layer or double-layer)
This glass is molded in the tin tank with the gas (H2, N2) and has high smoothness. And excellent light transmittance rate is more than 90%. In addition, it has better resistance and UV compartment capacity. And low thermal expansion and contraction coefficient. All the features decide that this kind of glass could last more than 20 years with good appearance.
Toughened (Tempered) Glass. (Single-layer )
Toughened or tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. when toughened glass broken, it will crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards. However, the light transmitance is nearly the same as normal float glass.
Scattering Glass( Single-layer)
Scatering Glass is a kind of newly designed glass which is specially treated on the surface and structure and it can divide the direct light into smaller beams of light with different directions. It increases the light transmitance and uniformity in the greenhouse and decrease the shadow area of greenhouse structure effectively. The light transmitance of scattering glass is more than 97.5% and it can increase more than 15% production.
