Following a period of decade of rapid growth, our company, the Jonway Group, has become a household name domestically. We are headquartered in Taizhou city, Zhejiang province, a city that is excellently located for both transportation and communication. We have invested much in several locations around China over our period of operation, and reached the position in 2003 of having land that covered over one million square meters in these locations. From a starting position that could be described as 'scratch', the Jonway Group has been involved in developing businesses in several differing industries over a ten-year period. In Taizhou, as a mother company, the Jonway Group involves itself primarily in the production of motorcycles, maintaining an annual production capacity of over 100,000 pieces. The Jonway Parts & Fittings Company, one of several subsidiary companies of the Jonway Group, manufactures plastic coverings for motorcycles as well as automobiles of up to one million sets yearly. Other subsidiaries include Jonway Machinery & Electric, which has a production capacity of over one million air compressors, and Jonway Plastic Pipes. These manufacturers have come to occupy an important place in both domestic and global markets.
There are a further two subsidiaries of the company located in Shanghai, which are the JM Star Motorcycle Co., Ltd. and the Shanghai Shenke Motorcycle Co., Ltd., which both produce motorcycles under their own brands of up to 100,000 pieces per year combined. Recently, the Jonway Group began executing a strategic plan involving the investment of the equivalent of millions of US dollars to establish manufacturing bases for automobiles and parts in China. In fact, by the end of 2004, we believe the Sanmen Automobile Base will have reached a production capacity of 30,000 automobiles.
