High quality, rugged, surface mounted 12V power socket that has a UV-stabilised rubber cover to make it waterproof when not in use. The cover is tethered with a rubber ring that also provides a seal between the faceplate and the housing (Note: We recommend the use of a suitable sealant between the base of the housing and the mounting surface to water-proof the housing). Non-corrosive nickel-plated brass contacts make this suitable for use in marine environments or for mounting externally on vehicles (motorbikes, campervans, motorhomes, 4x4s, trucks etc.) to enable easy and convenient access to 12V power.
