The E&M works flat wagon is used o 1435mm gauge railway with UIC/CHN 60 steel rail. It will transport the installation material of electrical and mechanical equipment used for railway construction and routine maintenance.

2. Main structure
The E&M works flat wagon mainly consists of underframe, bogie, braking system, coupler and draft gear, electrical device, locking device, handrail and steps etc.
2.1. Underframe
The underframe is a bridge girder type and of light weight design with substantially well braced.
The finished underframe is perfectly square without any twist in horizontal plane or negative camber when carrying fully loaded container.
and is strong enough to withstand a minimum ending buffing force of 150 metric tons and/or a minimum traction force of 100 metric tons or all dynamics impact loads without developing any permanent deformation.
2.2. Locking device
The twist lock is assembled for securing the ISO 20ft or 40ft containers.
2.3. Braking system.
The Chinese, UIC and AAR standard automatic air braking system could be used.
The NSW hand brake machine is assembled too.
2.4. Coupler and draft gear
Automatic coupler conformed with AAR standard is assembled.
2.5. Bogie
The bogie frame shall be of casting or fabricated type and made from the best quality steel.
2.6. Electrical device
The electrical device could supply the power to the machine loaded on works flat wagon.
2.7. Handrail and steps
The handrail and steps could be used for the safety of workers.
3. Warranty period: 12 months after commissioning on site.
Service lift: 25 years.
4. Spare parts and technical training will be provided for free.
