GQ 70 light oil tank wagon is popular wagon to transport gasoline, kerosene, diesel and other chemical materials.
The main structure of GQ70 oil tank wagon consists of tank, draft sill and body bolster, side ladder, walk platform, coupler and draft gear, braking system, hanging bracket device and bogie etc. There hang braking machine and platform is assembled too. There is no center sill on wagon.
1. Tank
The oil tank is comprised of end dome, tank barrel, human hole, respiration valve and liquid trap. The bottom of oil tank barrel is slope. The main material is high strength structure steel.
2. draft sill and body bolster
The draft sill and body bolster of oil tank wagon is mainly consists of draft sill assembly, body bolster, side sill and end sill etc.
3. Side ladder and walk platform
There is side ladder on oil tank and platform and protection rail is assembled on top of oil tank.
4. Coupler and draft gear
At each end of the GQ70 oil tank wagon will be provided with a high performance coupling device (high tensile couplers and high capacity draft gears) suitable for hauling in rake formation of heavy train as mentioned uphill at the maximum gradient.
5.Braking system:
The GQ70 oil tank wagon will be installed with the conventional single pipe gradual release automatic air brake incorporated with slack adjuster and automatic load brake device. Each wagon can be coupled with the air brake train. The application and release operation of the air brake system will be quick and uniform.
6. Hanging bracket device
7.The bogie of oil tank wagon can be operated with safe high speed capability, greater stability in curve, hunting-free performance, wheel/rail wear reduction, improved ride quality and extended life cycle.The bogie and its components will be designed to operate with lower maintenance cost between overhaul periods.
