1. General
Piston accumulator of HXQ is an important hydraulic auxiliary part in a hydraulic system, its functions are storing energy, stabilizing pressure, compensating volume, absorbing impact, boosting pressure and so on. Piston accumulators produced by our company have complete product specification and novel struction, and have advantages if low noise, no vibration, high seal performance, no leakage, long service life, high efficiency of hydraulic equipment, convenient maintance.
2. Operating Principle
The compressibility of a gas (nitrogen) is utilised in accumulators for storing liquids. Piston accumulators are based on this principle. A piston accumulator consists of an fluid section and a gas section with the piston acting as a gas-proof screen. The gas section is pre-charged with nitrogen. The fluid section is connected to the hydraulic circuit so that the piston accumulator draws in fluid when the pressure increases and the gas is compressed. When the pressure drops, the compressed gas expands and the stored fluid is displaced into the circuit.
