Hyde 5BG continuous seed treaters (seed coating machines) are widely used for seed treating with chemicals , typically fertilizers, antimicrobials, fungicides, or pesticides. The chemical dressing agent is applied on the grain a thick layer in a continuous flow. Several seed dressing agents can be dosed at the same time.

Hyde 5BG continuous seed coating machine is an important seed processing equipment, widely used for dressing maize, cotton seed, wheat, paddy, beans, grass seeds, vegetable seeds, foresty and flower seeds before planting.
Seed treatments can be more environmental friendly for using pesticides as the amounts used can be very small; usually add color to make treated seed less attractive to birds and easier to see and clean up if spilt.

2. Construction of 5BG Continuous Seed Coating Machine

(1) Seed feeding system: impeller type feeder and level sensor.

Featuring continuous feeding, accurate measuring and adjustable feed volume.
(2) Dressing liquid supply system: liquid tank, metering pump, three-way valve.

Can be set to manual sampling mode or automatic liquid supply mode by three-way valve: in manual sampling mode, the liquid will flow to measuring glass to test the dressing ratio; in automatic supply liquid mode, the dressing agents can be supplied accurately according to requirement. The liquid tank is provided with continuous mixer and liquid level indicator.
(3) Seed and dressing liquid preliminary mixing system

Two disks, upper for seed and lower for dressing liquid spray, synchronously driven be motors. Waved liquid disk with high-speed centrifugal rotation can make finer atomization and more uniform dressing layer. Sensor for disk access panel will stop running when the panel is open for safe maintenance.
(4) Cleaning mechanism

Soft brush driven by motor, to remove the material and liquid on inner wall of preliminary mixer chamber, and meanwhile, mix the material.
(5) Mixer: a removable mixer shaft assembly and a shaft mounted speed reducer.

The shifting forks and blades will further mix the material with liquid, and discharge.
(6) Intelligent control system: PLC, hydraulic monitor, and sensors for auto-control.
