It is well known that the ultrasonic transducer is an energy converter. Its function is to transform the strong output electric current of high-frequency and high-power into mechanical energy reciprocated vibration. The vibration frequency is same with the output current frequency of the ultrasonic generator. The booster amplifies further the ultrasonic amplitude, then through the horn to transfer the ultrasonic energy to the place where it needs.
♦ Principle of Ultrasonic Application
1. Hard Materials Cutting :
Ultrasonic energy to the vibration of ten million times , cutting and gluing the cutting edge at the same time , so the cutting point will not rough selvedge or fraying like conventional cutting , cutting edge will very smoothly . So it can process all kinds of materials which are hard to cut through ordinary knifes .
2. Food Cutting :
The ultrasonic blade which called sonotrode vibrates at high frequencies of 20kHz or 40kHz, and this high-frequency vibration reduces the friction resistance at cutting surface. This low-friction cutting make a blade cut the food products smoothly. It brings clean and beautiful cutting surface for various food products.
Also, ultrasonic cutting reduces the chips of foods during cutting. Which will reduces the downtime to clean up your production system.
3. Raw Rubber Cutting :
Instead of using traditional blade cutting, ultrasonic rubber cutter has its advantages of smooth, reliable cutting, accurate trimming, no deformation, no raising, fuzzing, spinning, wrinkling etc. It can avoid the rough cutting-edge, coked edge, fuzzballs and other shortcomings of laser cutting machine .
4. Woven Fabric Cutting :
Ultrasonic energy to the vibration of ten million times, with 20 mm wide welding, the blade will cut it in half at the same time, so the cutting point will not rough selvedge like conventional cutting, will be very smooth.
5. Non-woven Fabric Cutting :

8. Spot Welding :

Through ultrasonic mold (sonotrode, horn) transfer ultrasonic energy to the ultrasonic welding material surface, so the material can produce high temperature to make the plastic contact surface rapidly melting, coupled with pressure, make its be in harmony are an organic whole and solidification molding, thus achieve the goal of ultrasonic welding.
A. Ultrasonic welding :
ultrasonic vibration with ultrasonic welding mold (sonotrode, horn), ultrasonic energy conduction to the surface of plastic welding surface, thus produce local high temperature to make the melt plastic surface. Under the pressure of ultrasonic handheld, the plastic welding material can be welded well, beautiful and strong effect.
B. Ultrasonic preparetions :
When placing plastic nut screw or other metal work pieces., ultrasonic welder would transmit the ultrasonic energy to metal, and after high speed vibration to produce heat , the metal will directly embedded in the plastic.
C. Ultrasonic riveted :
Whe you need joint metal and plastic or two pieces of properties of different plastic, please use ultrasonic riveted method, which makes the weld material difficult to embrittlement, beautiful and strong.
E. Ultrasonic spot welding :
Use of ultrasonic small welding head (sonotrode, horn), let two pieces of plastic products to be divided into multipoint welding point, or a whole row of teeth sonotrode weld pressure on the two plastic parts directly, so as to achieve the effect of ultrasonic spot welding.
9. Mini Spot Welding :
With high frequency ultrasonic vibration welding horn (sonotrode) under the moderate pressure, make the two pieces of plastic joint surface to produces friction heat and melting joint moment. Adopt suitable artifacts and reasonable interface design, which can achieve watertight, airtight andefficient cleaning of welding, avoid the adjunct to the inconvenience, efficient clean welding.
10. Sonochemistry Extraction :
Ultrasonic Extraction is the use of ultrasound (frequency> 20KHz) with the mechanical effect, cavitations effect and thermal effect, by increasing the movement velocity of the molecular medium, increasing media penetration in order to extract material (herbal medicine) active ingredient technology.
11. Sonochemistry emulsifying :
Ultrasonic emulsification is to point to in the role of ultrasonic energy, make the two (or more than two) are not solution mixing body form disperse system, one of the liquid is uniformly distributed in another liquid and the processes of formingemulsion.
12. Sonochemistry Biodiesel Processing :
Ultrasonic in the liquid produced hundreds of thousands of times per second, make the liquid to break into tiny bubbles of vibration, these bubbles in the role of the continuous, rapid growth, then suddenly closed, produce the super shock wave, around the bubble produced thousands of atmospheres of pressure and local high temperature, the physical phenomenon known as ultrasonic cavitation effect.
