Rotary drum kiln structure

Rotary drum kiln refers to rotary calcining kiln, belong to building material equipment.

Limestone rotary kiln is mainly used for heating and calcining various mineral materials in metallurgy, construction, and ores etc, such as ceramsite sand, bauxite, limestone, cement, metal magnesium, alumina, hydroxide alumina, fly ash , high aluminum refractory materials, etc.

♥♥♥Cement kiln is mainly used for calcining cement clinker, cement kiln has dry process and wet process.

♥♥♥Lime kiln also called active lime kiln, is used for roasting active lime and calcined dolomite for steel plant, ferroalloy plant.

Lime rotary drum kiln is composed of  cylinder, gears, supporting device, kiln liner and kiln tail sealing equipment, kiln head hood and combustion.

rotary drum kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material to be 

processed is fed into the upper end of the cylinder. As the kiln rotates, material gradually moves down towards the lower end,

and may undergo a certain amount of stirring and mixing. 

 The fuel for rotary drum kiln may be gas, oil, pulverized petroleum coke or pulverized coal.

Lime production line:

1.Calcining limestone Qualified limestone conveyed to preheater by belt conveyor, limestone enter into preheater and preheated by high temperature flue(above 600℃) produced by rotary kiln, limestone decomposition, then pushed by hydraulic rod to end of kiln. After high temperature calcining, enter into cooler, cooled by cold wind blowing produced by fan. When materials cooled to 100℃,discharged from cooler. The cool air enter into rotary kiln as secondary air for burning.

2.Burning device Burning device has internal and external sleeve structure, fixed to the head of rotary kiln, air preheated by heat exchange enter into center of burner tube, mixed coal gas through tube of burner, make gas mixed fully, for burning fully.

3.Flue gas treatment High temperature flue gas produced by rotary kiln enter into preheater, then heat exchange happened with limestone, temperature fall to below 250℃,heat exchange again, flue gas temperature fall to below 220℃,then flue gas enter into dust collector, after dust collecting, discharged into atmosphere by high temperature fan, dust- containing gas concentration below 50mg/m3, heat exchange reduced high temperature gas, at same time, warm up burning air produced by fan to 220℃, then send to burning device, for burning.

4.Final lime transportation Lime discharged from cooler, conveyed by conveyor, then conveyed by belt conveyor to storage silos.
