Use sunflower oil to fry potato skins, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, chicken or seafood. Use a simple batter made with flour, egg and water, or bread and cracker crumbs. Heat sunflower oil in medium pot or fryer, dip products in and remove once the batter is brown and crispy. Allow to cool, and enjoy.

Baking With Sunflower Oil

• Sunflower oil can also be used as a healthier alternative to traditional baking fats, including butter, margarine and vegetable shortening. Next time you bake, use sunflower oil to reduce the amount of saturated fat in your cookies, brownies and cakes. One cup of butter, margarine or vegetable shortening is equivalent to 3/4 cup of sunflower oil, and 1/2 cup is equivalent to 1/3 cup of sunflower oil.
