The main parts of castor oil machines
1. Degumming section: This part is to remove colloid impurities, degumming is often called the dephosphorization, we usually use hydration method, adding acid method. heating method, and the adsorption method to remove colloid impurities.
2. Deacidification section: It refers to the refining process that neutralized the free fatty acids with alkali, then generate fatty acid salts (soap) and water, the soap adsorb a portion of impurity then settling out from the oil.
3. Decoloring section : This part is used to remove off pigments, bleaching oils and grease dehydrate
4. Deodorization section: To remove off the odor generated in the oil making process, such as the odor in the leaching grease solvent, soap odor in the alkali refining oil and clay odor in decolorization oil.
5. Dewaxing section: Through this part we can remove off the wax in the oil,
especially the crude rice bran oil, must be dewaxed, at last we can get the high quality oil.
Working process of castor oil machines
1) Pump crude oil into refining tank and heat with conduction oil, and the temperature will reach about 70°C-80°C after one hour.
Add acid or alkali to separate according to the acid value. After one hour's processing and 4-6hours deposit, then convey soap stock to storage tank.
2) Pump refined oil into decoloring tank. When it is up to 90-110°C after one hour's heating, add clay into tank for 20min's processing. Then separate clay and oil with filter.
3)Put discolored oil into deodorization tank with vacuum pump. Heat and process with steam for odor removal. After filtering, you will get final oil product.
