Model XD-C Capsule Filling Machine is the new-type medicine packer, with novel construction, elegant appearance. It is controlled by the stepless frequency conversion and pneumatic device together, and adopts the electronic automatic counter. The machine can finish the actions of position, separation, filling, locking of capsule, etc., and reduce the labor intensity and improve the efficiency of working.

The machine consist of the separating mechanism for the capsule, carrying somersault, medicinal materials filling mechanism, systems of air-actuation control and electric equipment control, defender and other parts as well as the accessories of vacuum pump and air pump.

1. Capsule dispensing mechanism

The mechanism pushes the hollow capsules into the capsule dispensing tube from the hopper. There is the reed switch under the tube. When the capsule dispensing tube falls with the driving of the segment gear, the switch discharges a row of capsule (7pcs a row for 1^#, 2^#, or 5pcs a row for 0^#). The switch closes the capsule dispensing tube when the tube rises up.

The capsules which fall in the capsule comb are pushed to the position where the capsules are pressed and changed the direction (the bodies are down and the caps are up). There is the suction air current under the die, so when the capsules are pressed and leave the capsules comb, the capsule bodies will be sucked into the die by the air current, and the caps will stay in the upper die because there is a small step in the die hole. So, the mechanism finishes the work of the discharging capsules, somersault, and separation.

A motor drives the cam, rocking bar, ratchet mechanism to running for the mechanism. The ratchet mechanism advances a tooth (namely: making the die set to advance a row of hole) with a cycle of cam. At same time the cam drives the rocking bar to operate a cycle for the segment gear.

The mechanism is adopted automatic counter which make the machine auto stopped when the die is filled by the capsules. It may be manually stopped when it need stop in a halfway. The speed of the machine is regulated by the button on the console and displays with the instrument.
