Parts of seaming iron
Operation
1.Put the Heat Bond iron on the support rack. Adjust the temperature Knob within the range of 1-4. Then plug the iron.
2. A proper temperature should be determined by type of a seaming tape. The Heat Bond iron heats up to a desired temperature in 2-3 minutes. When the indicator light on the top of the handle goes off, the iron should have reached the desired temperature.
3.Place the iron directly on the seaming tape under the joints of two carpet edges. Move the iron forward slowly. Actual speed should be determined by melting point of the tape.
4.Immediately press the two carpet edges together as the iron moves on. If you use a seam roller to roll the joint while you moving, a perfect bonding will be resulted.
5.Place the iron back on the support rack after use, and then pull off from power supply.
