INTRODUCTION
Flow Wrap is a flexible system that allows the application of high speed, MAP and sealing systems such as the Long Dwell (a PFM patent). The advantages of the Flow Wrap system can be
- Flexibility, PFM Packagers permit format changes in extremely short times (2-3 minutes), without the replacement of mechanical parts, presses or other equipment

- MAP Packaging, the application of MAP makes it possible to control the gas inside Packaging and to prolong the shelf life of the product
- Greater ease in cleaning, PFM flow Wrap
- Packages are built with the "cantilevered" design.
- The front of the machine is free and permits direct cleaning of sealing units and areas that have come into contact with the product. The mechanical and electronic parts are protected and lodged at the rear of the machine, in separate compartments

Swift is ideal for packaging solid products in the foodstuffs sector
PFM SWIFTSWIFT: maximum functional and operational simplicity, together with versatility and good speed standards - these are the features of PFM's smallest packaging machine. A horizontal flow-wrap type packaging machine which produces packs sealed on three sides from a roll of heat-sealable packaging film. Swift is ideal for packaging solid products in the foodstuffs sector in general, stationery materials and many other products. Set-up change can be performed in about 3 minutes, without compromising packaging speed (up to 100 mechanical cycles per minute).
Easy to use: the machine requires no particular maintenance, and it guarantees excellent performance and maximum operating safety.The machine can be fitted with a photocell (for centrally printed packaging material), with a hot-printer (for impressing the production and expiration dates into the packaging film), and with many other optional features for complete customisation of the machine according to product and production requirements.

- Suitable packaging materials: laminated, bonded, or micro-perforated polypropylene, polyethylene, heat-shrinkable and trimmable materials.
- Packaging speed: up to 100 packs/min (150 packs/min for the special version).
- Format change time: 3 minutes average.
- Packageable product size: length min 40 mm max 350 mm; width min 5 max 220 mm; height max 100 mm. The machine can be adapted for products which exceed the specified dimensions.
