 Introduction cassava dryer:

cassava dryer is used for drying materials from moisture 20%-60% to 6%-8%.

It is consist of hot air stove,inlet, steel buffer cylinders pipe, exhaust fan,air lock and cyclone 

separator. 

1)It is widely used for drying the powder, such as flour, starch, garri and other powder.

2) It is specially suitable for drying the starch,albumen powder from food such as corn,potato etc.

Working theory:

Wet materials are input into the hopper. It uses the varying diameters of branch segments of pulse tube and continual change of air flow speed to constantly thrash the material for drying.The fuel boiler generates hot air which mixes with wet materials and then is sucked into the pipes by the exhaust blower (fan) quickly. And then hot air is flowing and going though the curving pipes and buffer (drying chamber) of dryer, thus wet materials is finished to dry, and the dried materials are discharged from theoutlet with air lock. 

Features of cassava dryer:

1)As the raw material particles are suspended in the hot air stream, the heat transfer between the hot air and particle is rapid. That ensures efficient moisture removal, even with a short transfer time of 3-5 seconds.

2)Once the moisture hot air and particles reach the cyclone separator, the particles leave the through the base and moist hot air leaves through the top of the cyclone.The buffer cylinders are to increase particle resonance time in the hot air stream.

3)The dryer usually uses coal, firewood and gas as heating source.Combustible gas as the heating resource can save labor 75%.

4)It not only reduces the labor intensity but also can reuse the fuel gas.
