Brief Info of single screw extruder
This single screw extruder is used to produce variety materials into high-grade aquatic feed for fish, catfish, tilapia, shrimp, crab, cat, dog, fox, frog, pet bird, and other small animals,etc. Floating time of the feed pellets for fish can be adjusted by the puffing degree adjustment.
Commom raw material of feed pellets
The raw material can be corn meal, wheat bran, rice bran, maize powder, soybean meal, cottonseed meal, fish meal, bone meal, meat meal, etc.
This single screw extruder can be divided into two types: dry type and wet type.The differences are as following:
1. Equipment:The dry type does not need the steam boiler while the wet type is with the conditioner and need to equip the steam boiler. Thus the dry type will be cheaper and easier to operate.
2. Final feed products quality: The fish feed pellets made by the wet type single screw extruder is more smooth and with better quality, because the material is ripen and mixed adequately in the conditioner compared with the dry type.
3. Capacity: The capacity of the wet type is higher than the dry type. So the dry type machine is widely used for small and medium fish farm holders, livestock farm, feed mill, or feed processing plant. While the wet type is more suitable for large feed pellet processing factory.
