The raw material of MSW gasifier
Raw material is then introduced to the furnace .Incomplete combustion of the biomass in the furnace by controlling the temperature and oxygen through pyrolysis produces CO, H2, CH4 and other combustible gases. Most of the energy from the solid biomass or solid waste has turned into syngas.
The gasifier furnace is draft down fixed bed, in the process, it will produce syngas, at the same time, it also produce ash, wood tar, ect. We add cyclone, air fan and gas burner, the cyclone can remove the ash. For the tar, when the syngas is burned, the temperature is high, then the tar can be burned. Before burning, the gas temperature is 200-300degree.

MSW gasification is basically conversion of , city waste, solid fuels (wood/ wood-waste, agricultural residues etc.) into a combustible gas mixture normally called Producer Gas. The process is typically used for various biomass materials and it involves partial combustion of such biomass Partial combustion process occurs when air supply (O2) is less than adequate for the complete combustion of biomass.
The gasifier is essentially a chemical reactor where various complex physical and chemical processes take place. Four distinct processes take place in a gasifier are:

Principle of Gasification system

Raw material is processed for size and moisture content to meet the requirements of the gasifier furnace. It is then introduced to the furnace by the Raw material in- feed conveyors.
