Main oilseeds process
1. Cleaning
Using the de-stoner, vibrate sieve and other cleaning equipment to clean the stone, dust and other impurity, in order to get the high quality cake and oil and reduce the wastage of the machine.
2. Softening.
Using the softener to adjust the material’s temperature and moisture, making the temperature reach 70-75 centigrade, in order to get oil easily.
3. Flaking
Using the flaking mill to make the material into flake, increasing the surface area of exit oil. The thickness should be 0.3-0.35mm, it maybe broken easily if it is too thin.
4. Cooking
Evaporating the water, to control the moisture at 2%-5% or 3%-5%.
5. Pressing
Though the pressing machine make the oil separate from the cake.
These vegetable oil processing plants are equipped with big capacity, which mostly use in middle-large scale oil plant. They can be divided into two kinds: One is hot processing, which includes steam cooker and oil press. The steam cooker is used for oilseeds pretreatment before pressing. The other one is the cold processing. The advantage of this kind of machine is to press seeds at low temperature. It is about 80 degree, which can protect the nutrition element within the oil.
These oil plants feature with large capacity, high oil output, low oil residual, light processed fats color, good quality, rich nutrient.
These oil mill can process a number of oilseeds like peanut, soya, cotton seeds sunflower seeds, corn germ, rape seeds, canola, castor, sesame, neem seed, sheanut, palm kernel and the like. The most important equipment in the entire milling / pressing process is oil expellers which are used for high oil content seeds and also used for smaller capacity oil production plant.
