Application for customer's lab with customized mini size
However I need to clarify one thing that all the elements in my sample is in oxides form including Nd. So that the melting point is much higher. We didn't intend to melt Nd2O3 but it will dissolve into the molten slag. I can provide some more detail about my sample so that you can have a more clearly understand. My sample contain around 42% CaO, 32% SiO2, 24% P2O5 and some other elements including rare earth elements. P is combined with part of CaO in apatite phase and the rest CaO is in CaCO3 form. In my previous test the sample start to melt around 1800oC. However, until 2000oC there are still part of the sample not melted and floating in the center.
