Description
Low expansion foam means foam mixture after inhalation of air, less than 20 times the volume expansion foam. Crane trestle low expansion foam fire extinguishing system is mainly used for fighting fires of crude oil, gasoline, kerosene, diesel, methanol, acetone, etc. Class B, suitable for oil refineries, chemical plants, oil fields, oil depots, railway tank car unloading oil jetty , hangars and airports. General civil foam fire systems often use low expansion foam fire protection systems. Low expansion foam liquid ordinary protein foam liquid, liquid fluoride protein foam, AFFF solution (light-water foam liquid), a film F protein foam liquid and liquid-resistant foam and other types.
Because of the water-soluble flammable liquids such as ethanol, methanol, acetone, acetic acid acetate and other polar molecules, the general extinguishing foam has damaging effects, general foam extinguishing agent can not be acted upon, should be resistant foam extinguishing agent. Resistant foam extinguishing agent for water-soluble flammable and combustible liquids have good stability, can resist water soluble combustible, flammable liquid damage, fire fighting role to play. Fight not flowing combustible liquids or gases with low expansion foam fire extinguishing system. In addition, it should not be used in conjunction with water guns and spray systems.
The foam sprinkler is a special fire extinguishing parts mainly used in low-expansion foam sprying system which can produce and jet air bubble. When the mixture foam liquid through the pipline to foam sprinkler, the the foam sprinkler outlet will inhalation air to formation air foam, spray on the protection area to extinguishing fire.
