2. Varieties Of Aluminum Foil Tape

2.1 Pure Aluminum Foil Backing HVAC/R Adhesive Tapes

• Characteristic: Dead soft aluminum foil with good tensile strength and resistance, perfect for on-the-spot stick and available for many backings.
• Application: Mainly used for seam sealing and joint bonding of various vapor barriers (laminated insulation facings). Provide fast and permanent bond performance for vapor barrier against the moisture. 
• Standard thickness: 15 ~ 80 µm. The length and width of the cut roll can be custom-made.

2.2 Laminated Backing HVAC/R Adhesive Tapes

• Characteristic: Foil/glass cloth scrim and cloth scrim/paper laminated backing tape with uniform appearance as the facing material. Higher strength than the pure aluminum foil tape series.
• Application: Mainly used for seam sealing and joint bonding of vapor barriers that demand high adhesion, with uniform appearance as the insulation facings.
• Standard weight: 50 gsm and 60 gsm. The foil thickness, Kraft weight and the length and width of the cut roll can be custom-made.

2.3 Foil Glass Cloth HVAC/R Adhesive Tapes

• Characteristic: Super high strength[Please refer to 004.jpg to confirm high strength or high adhesive strength.], abrasive resistance, used for applications with special requirements such as like ductwork in shipbuilding industry.
• Application: Used in seam sealing and joint bonding of vapor barriers that demand high strength, abrasive resistance and tear resistance.
• Standard thickness: 7µm and 18µm. The foil thickness and the length and width of the cut roll can be custom-made.

2.4 Single Side Foil-Scrim-Kraft Insulation Facing

• Characteristic: There are two selections for this series, plain and reinforced specifications. Plain specifications are economic. Reinforced specifications contain fiber glass scrim, high tensile strength, easy to use and economic.
• Application: Used mainly in vapor barriers with various insulation materials. Also used for in-line lamination of glass wool, rock wool, and mineral wool. Flexible applications.
• Standard Kraft weight: 50 gsm and 60 gsm. The foil thickness and Kraft weight can be custom-made.
• Typical widths:1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m. The length and width of the jumbo roll can be custom-made.

2.5 Foil-Glass Cloth Laminate

• Characteristic: High tensile strength, good tear-resistance, and abrasive-resistance.
• Application: Used mainly in applications demanding high tensile strength, such as vapor barriers for HVAC duct, blanket, pipe insulation, glass wool, rock wool and mineral wool.
• Standard foil thickness: 7µm and 18µm. The foil thickness can be custom-made. 
• Standard width: 1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m. The length and width of the jumbo roll can be custom-made.

2.6 Heat-Sealing Foil Facing

• Characteristic: Heat-Sealing Foil Facing for blankets and vapor barriers. Wide application range. No need for adhesive. Excellent corrosion resistance.
• Application: High tensile strength, perfect for high quality in-line lamination of gals wool, rock wool, mineral wool. No need for adhesive.
• Standard foil thickness: 7µm and 18µm. The foil thickness can be custom-made.
• Standard width: 1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m.The length and width of the jumbo roll can be custom-made.

2.7 Polypropylene Foil-Scrim-Kraft Insulation Facing and All Service Jacket Facing

• Characteristic: Great appearance and easy to use. Suitable for warehouse, factory, supermarket, office and gym.
• Application: Utility grade PSK Facing for metal surface, suitable for warehouse, factory, supermarket, office and gym.
• Standard foil thickness of above products is 7µm. Typical Kraft weight: 50 gsm and 60 gsm. The foil thickness and Kraft weight of Kraft can be custom-made.
• Standard width: 1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m. The length and width of the jumbo roll can be custom-made.

2.8 Double Side Reflective Aluminum Foil Insulation

• Characteristic: Two-layer aluminum foil or metalized PET, one layer of high strength Kraft and one layer of fiberglass reinforcement, laminated by special flame-retardant adhesive or polyethylene.
• Application: Mainly used in houses and buildings, excellent for all-season heat management at the roofs and walls, as well as dust and moisture blockage.
• Standard foil thickness: 7µm. Typical Kraft weight: 60gsm~100gsm. The foil thickness and Kraft weight can be custom-made.
• Standard width: 1.20m, 1.25m and 1.30m. The length and width of the jumbo roll can be custom-made.

2.9 Perforated Foil-Scrim-Kraft Facing

• Characteristic: Backing of Single-sided foil-scrim-Kraft, heat-sealing foil-scrim-Kraft facing, and double-sided reflective insulation and polypropylene foil-scrim-Kraft insulation facing. Professionally perforated with holes.  
• Application: Suitable for music studio, computer centre, theater, music hall and Karaoke room for maintaining high sound quality and durability, and factories for noise absorption and reduction.
• The hole diameter and spacing between holes can be custom-made.
• The foil-scrim-kraft facings can be perforated.
