Gellan gum and HPMC are the two major raw materials in empty vegetable capsule. Gellan gum is natural high molecular polysaccharide with no organic solvent. HPMC (hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose) is made of plant cellulose. The empty vegetable capsule which made from these raw materials is clear, smooth, low brittle rate, it is considered as good quality product. Both gellan gum and HPMC are natural materials, they are suitable for modern consumption idea, No protein, no fat, no preservative, suited for drug diversity. It can cover drug’s smell, be use more conveniently. Besides, it meet s the needs of vegetarian and special cultural customer (Muslim, Islam, Judaism Hinduism and other religious country).
