Utilizing a hydraulic steering system means theWindrow Compost Turners do not need to use power robbing counterweights that can add up to 4000 kg to the Compost Turner or an expensive towing system to enable the unit to pass through gates or travel down access roads, the hydraulic steering will simply steer the turner in behind the tractor like a trailer. The Draw-bar can easily be folded as shown here for transport or storage.
All Windrow Compost Turners are fitted with long front and rear rubber guards, the front guards stop any foreign objects that may be in the compost from hitting the rear of the tractor , breaking glass ,while the rear guards stop debris and valuable compost material being thrown back away from the compost windrow when first entering the windrow.
Side scrapers also make sure no material is left unturned.
An Turner Compost Cover System is available as an optional extra if required allowing windrow covers to easily glide over the rollers without the need for removing the covers from the windrow.
