Pellet cooling machine adopts counter flow theory, namely cold air goes inside of cooler from bottom to top and hot pellets go to cooler from top to bottom.As time goes on, pellets will pile up at the cooler bottom, cold air will cool them at the bottom gradually,  this process will reduce the broken rate of pellets. If cold air also goes to the cooler from top, which has the same direction as pellets flow, then hot pellets will meet with cold air suddenly, pellets will be easily broken, especially pellets surface. BY this way pellets can be cooled fully, and the  broken rate is smaller than 0.2%.

1.pellet cooling machine is used to cool 2-8mm pellets. When the  temperature of  pellets from pellet machines is about 60-80 centigrade, after cooling the temperature is not 3-5 centigrade higher than room temperature, about 25 centigrade.

2.If we directly pack biomass pellet into bags after being pressed by the pellet machine, the pellets will be easily broken or become moldy due to hot temperature. But after cooling , no such situation happens. Especially for the pellet production line larger than 500kg/h capacity must use the pellet cooler. 

3.Wood pellet cooler works with cyclone,air fan and air lock, which are used to absorb cold air and clean dust. A screener is also can be installed at the cooler bottom, which can separate powder dust from good pellets after cooling..
