Polyester strap (PET strap) is recognized as a new environmental protection packing material to substitute steel strap. It can save about 50% cost comparing steel strap. PET straps have been used in various industries like Aluminum ingot, Glass, Ceramic, Ply wood, Construction material like stone, marble and brick, Paper, Cotton baling, Fiber baling, Clothes bailing, Steel plate, Steel pipe etc.

Advantage :

1)Cost Saving about 50% comparing with steel strap:PET strap is about 6 times longer than steel strap in the same size. And it has the same strength with steel strap. Through the comparison and analysis of PET strap and steel strap as well as the practical data, we have learnt that 25mmx1.2 mm PET strap can replace 32mm*1mm steel strap for heavy packing. The density of PET strap is only 1/6 of steel strap. Therefore, PET strap for the heavy industries, like glass, Aluminum ingot etc, can save 50% cost comparing with steel strap.

2)Safety:PET strap can keep 5% retaining strength and not loosen in long time. Under the external strong clash, it still can keep 5% elongation to insure the safety of packaged goods. PET strap has no sharp edge as steel strap, which wouldn’t damage the packaged goods and hurt the operators in the process of packing and unpacking.

3)Environmental protection:PET strap is made of new type environmental-protection material. It has the features of moisture proof, anti-rust, water proof, corrosion-resistant and pollution free. It meets the requirement of environmental protection and isn’t restricted in export. Moreover, the used PET strap can be recycled to produce pet fiber without polluting the environment.

4)Convenience:PET strap is very light and can be carried easily. Comparing with steel strap, PET strap is easily operated and highly improves the working efficiency. Operator doesn’t need to wear gloves as packing.
