Protection Features:

1) Overcharge protection: When battery is fully charged,the charger will limit the charge voltage, damages caused by over-charge will be avoided.

2) Reverse connect protection: Fuse will burn out when reverse connected, the charger will disconnect automatically,the Red LED light.

3) Short circuit protection: When the output is short circuit, the charger will disconnect automatically.

4) Overheat protection:When the charger’s work temperature is higher than than the set point,the charger will disconnect automatically.

Function characteristics

1)   Constant-Current Charge

When the battery voltage is lower than the set point, battery charger will charge the battery at the max. constant current, this is called Quick Charge.

2)   Constant-Voltage Charge

When the battery is almost been fully charged, the battery will limit the current automatically.

3)Float Charge 

When the battery voltage reaches the setted float voltage(12V:13.8V), it will automatically switch to the float charge condition, and charge with the current 0.1Amp-0.3Amp.

Instructions for operation

1) The charger is designed for charging Lead Acid Battery.  Be sure it is suitable to your storage battery and voltage before the usage, and charger current is enough to assure the charging completely finished on time.

2) Correctly connect charger positive (red) clip to positive storage battery’s post, and the negative (black) clip to the battery’s negative post.

3) Connect the charger with 220VAC city power, turn on the switch, and charging begins. Please keep charging for extra one hour at least when the green LED is bright.

4) Automatic floating charge situation will be reached when the battery is full.

LED light to indicate 

l When connected with city power, Green LED light.

l When charging, Yellow LED light.

l When fully charged, Green LED light.

l When cables reversed,Red LED light.

Warnings

1) Although the charger is equipped with comprehensive protection functions, moisture-proof, humid-proof and high-temperature-proof shall be your concerns of the working environment, otherwise the lifespan of the charger will be shortened.

2) Check whether the fuse is burned out or battery cord is mis-connected when the charger does not work properly, such as the charging LED light is off or no current for charging
