1. Why EV?
There should be at least three reasons for EV:
Firstly, decrease pollution! EV as a zero-emission-car can help improve the environment a lot;
Secondly, decrease the cost! Though the initial buy cost of EV is higher than gasoline car, the maintenance cost of EV will be extremely lower than gasoline car. Based on calculation, for a 48V EV, it only consumes 2KWH electricity per 100kms. Cost is much lower than gasoline car.
Thirdly, energy independent! For a country who is lack of oil source, it should find a way to make itself independent from oil. Water resource, sun resource and wind resource are potential alternative resource. The problem is to find a medium to storage the energy. Then battery will be the best choice at this moment.
2. What kind of warranty Eagle provides?
Eagle provides one year limited warranty to its products sold to oversea countries. Eagle provides two standard warranty polices. One is, Eagle provides free spare parts valued 2% of FOB Shanghai price of the vehicles ordered to cover individual problems happened in daily use, in the same time, Eagle covers massive failure happened within one year. Another one is, Eagle provides free spare parts valued 1.4% of FOB Shanghai price of the vehicles ordered to cover individual problems happened on components except controller, motor, charger and rear end in daily use, in the same time, Eagle will cover all the interior quality problems of controller, motor, charger and rear end and massive failure of other components. 3. What kind of battery is mounted on Eagle electric vehicle?
Currently, Lead-acid battery is mounted on Eagle electric vehicle. However, Eagle is testing Lithium battery, in the future, Lithium battery will be mounted on Eagle electric vehicle.
4. How long will it take to charge Eagle electric vehicle?
Eagle electric vehicles are equipped with Lead-acid battery, to charge the battery fully, it will take 8-10 hours. Eagle is testing lithium battery. It will take 3-4 hours to charge lithium battery fully.
5. Can Eagle electric vehicle be used on public road?
Most of the electric vehicles Eagle produced are off-road vehicles, they cannot be driven on public road. However, there are still several models can be used on public road in some countries. There are two models EG6043KR-00 and EG6043KR-01 that can be used as street-legal vehicle in Europe. And the personal carrier models with passenger capacity less than 8 can be used as Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) in USA. Anyway, before you drive the electric vehicle on public road, please register your electric vehicle in your local transport department to get license plate. For other countries, if you want to drive the electric vehicle on public road, please consult your local transportation bureau. PLEASE NEVER DRIVE EAGLE ELECTRIC VEHICLE ON PUBLIC ROAD WITHOUT LOCAL TRANSPORTATION BUREARU PERMISSION! In the same time, we hope more and more countries will have their own regulations for electric vehicle in order to push the use of electric vehicle.
6. Can I be an agent for Eagle? If yes, how can I?
Eagle hasn’t started to prompt its own brand till 2009. From 2010, Eagle started to promote its brand in some countries, it will be done step by step. 7. Where can I get spare parts for Eagle electric vehicle?
If you are the end user, you can contact the company where you get Eagle electric vehicle; if you are the end user, but you are not able to contact the company whom you buy Eagle electric vehicle from, you can get the spare parts from Eagle directly; if you buy Eagle electric vehicle from Eagle directly, you can get spare parts from Eagle. If any spare part is stopped using or be replaced by improved one, that spare part will be available in 5 years from the date when that spare part is stopped using.
8. Where can I get after service for Eagle electric vehicle?
Eagle requires its customers (distributor, dealer, agent, importer, etc.) have the ability to provide after service themselves. Its customers will provide after service. Eagle will provide technical support if necessary.
9. Can I buy one vehicle as a sample to test the market?
Yes, Eagle doesn’t have requirement of MOQ. However, if order quantity is less than one full container, there will have extra cost for special packing.
10. How should I maintain the batteries?
