    Coal based activated carbon originates from coal that has undergone a steam activation process. To lower the ash, it can be processed after acid washing. The regular ash content after steam processing can be controlled bellow 8%. But afteracid washing, the ash can be controlled as 5%. Coal based activated carbon has mainly meso-pores and macro-pores. The main raw material for coal activated carbon is anthracite and bituminous.

    The maximum Iodine value of anthracite coal based activated carbon can be 1200mg/g. The maximum Methylene blue ofbituminous coal based activated carbon can be 230mg/g. Coal based activated carbon is widely used in gas phase purification, portable water purification, waste water purification and aquarium/pond water purification.

Applications of our coal based activated carbon 

1. Specifically in air and vapor filters for eliminating odors and toxic vapors.

2. To be placed in freeflow containers to adsorb offensive or poisonous odors in confined areas.

3. Water treatment: Deodorant and decolor of waters.

4. Work as catalysis carrier in synthesizing of mercury bichloride and Vinyl Acetate, or used for industrial gas-desulphurization and phosgene production of the catalyst.

5. In the gold mining industry, gold recovery,extraction and refining.
