Modular Greenhouse is a whole system to produce young plant and other kinds of plants.
I. The Parameter
1. Container:
Outer Diameter: 12m x 2.51m x 2.87m
Inner Diameter: 11.8m x 2.3m x 2.6m
2. Hydroponic Shelf:
1) Seedling: 10.8m x 0.7m x 2.4m, each layer height: 0.36m
2) Production: 10.8m x 0.8m x 2.5m, each layer height: 0.38m
3. Production Capability:
1) Seedling: 21600 crops/batch
2) Production: 3060 crops/batch
4. Electricity Consumption: 220V/380V/50HZ (3PH). Maximum Power is 19kW (including LED power
12.8kW, air conditioning 4.5KW.)
This small plant factory adopt liquid nutrient to cultivate young seedling and can be used for young plant
seedling and leaf vegetable production.
II. Design Plan
1. Seedling Container
There are two lines of cultivation shelf in the container and the aisle is in the middle part. Each cultivation
shelf has 5 layers and the dimension is 10.8m x 0.7m x 2.4m.
2. Production Container
There are two lines of cultivation shelf in the container and the aisle is in the middle part. Each cultivation
shelf has 5 layers and each layer has 4 rows. The dimension is 10.8m x 0.8m x 2.5m.
III. More Details.
1. Young plant seedling: In one container, one batch of young plant has 36*5*60*2=21600 pieces and the
seedling period is about 18 days. Each year has 20 batches of young seedling, so one container can
produce 432000 young plants for one year.
2. Leaf vegetable production: In one container, one batch of leaf vegetable has (77+76)*2*5*2=3060
pieces and the production period is about 18 days. Each year can harvest 20 batches of leaf vegetables, so
one container can produce 61200 leaf vegetables for one year.
