1. Descriptions of gabion box
Gabion Box is wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting. Which is woven into double or multiple twisted hex meshes by theanti-corrosion, anti-wear and high tensile strength heavily galvanized wire, or PVC coated wire .Wire diameter varies with the hexagonal nettings.
For Galvanized Gabion Box, the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm. For those PVC coated Gabion Box , the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 4.0mm. The wire of the outside frame edge is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.
Gabion Box is flexible, permeable and integrity structure, filling the stones into it
Gabion Box is used for Security protection, resistance suddenly burst attacks , Nature Flood control barrier etc.
2. Material
Gabion box is also called big specification hexagonal box or gabion box, it is made from high grade steel wire through twisting and braiding by machine.It can be mainly used in supporting and protecting of side slope and basis pit, mountain rock hanging mesh, green guard rail netting on side slope, railway guard rail netting, highway guard rail netting. Gabion box also can be worked into stone cage or stone cushion, and used in reservoir, river or dyke for closure.
